[339] 208 - (...) A Ḥadīth similar to that of 'Abdul-Wārīṭh (no. 338) was narrated from Al-Ja'd Abū 'Uthmān with this chain, but he added: "Or Allāh will erase it, therefore no one will be damned except the one who is truly doomed."

Arabic text

208 - (131) وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْجَعْدِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، وَزَادَ: «وَمَحَاهَا اللهُ وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ»
