English translation

[3529] 114 - (...) It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ was asked about a woman who got married to a man, then he divorced her, then another man married her, and divorced her before consummating the marriage - is it permissible for her to go back to her first husband? He said: 'No, not until he (the second husband) has tasted her sweetness.'"

114 - (1433) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا الرَّجُلُ، فَيُطَلِّقُهَا فَتَتَزَوَّجُ رَجُلًا، فَيُطَلِّقُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا، أَتَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا الْأَوَّلِ؟ قَالَ: «لَا، حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَهَا»،
