English translation

[3669] 13 - (...) Ibn Ṭawūs narrated from his father that he heard Ibn 'Umar being asked about a man who divorced his wife while she was menstruating. He said: "Do you know 'Abdullāh bin 'Umar?" He said: "Yes." He said: "He divorced his wife while she was menstruating, and 'Umar went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him the news. He told him to take her back." He (Ibn Ṭawūs) said: "I did not hear him - his father - say any more than that."
