English translation
[3848] 39 - (1528) It was narrated from Abû Hurairah that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Whoever buys food, let him not sell it until he has measured it."

39 - (1528) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنِ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَكْتَالَهُ»، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: «مَنِ ابْتَاعَ»
