English translation
[3939] (...) A similar report (as no. 3938) was narrated from Ayyūb with this chain. In the Hadīth of Ibn 'Ulayyah it adds: "He said: 'Ibn 'Umar stopped doing it after that, and he did not lease it out.'"

(1547) - وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ، وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ: فَتَرَكَهَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَكَانَ لَا يُكْرِيهَا
