[3996] 29 - (...) It was narratedthat Hudhaifah said: "One ofAllâh's slaves was brought beforeHim, to whom Allâh had givenwealth. He said to him: 'Whatdid you do in the world?' -although they cannot concealanything from Allâh. He said: 'OLord, You bestowed Your wealthupon me and I used to enter intotransactions with people. It wasmy nature to be lenient, so I usedto go easy on those who werewell off and I would give moretime to those who were indifficulty.' Allâh said: 'I havemore right to that than you; letMy slave go.'" ‘Uqbah bin ‘Âmir Al-Juhanî and Abû Mas’ûd Al-Anshârî said: “This is how we heard it from the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ.”
