English translation

[435] 283 - (175) It was narrated from Abû Hurairah (about the Verse): “And indeed he saw him at a second descent.”[1] He said: “He saw Jibrîl, ﷺ.”

283 - (175) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، {وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى} [النجم: 13]، قَالَ: «رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ»
