English translation
[4398] 1 - (1684) It was narrated that 'Āishah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would cut off the thief's hand for one-quarter of a Dînâr or more."

1 - (1684) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَى، قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا، وقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْطَعُ السَّارِقَ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا»،
