English translation
[455] It was narrated that Abû Sa’eed Al-Khudrî said: “We said: ‘O Messenger of Allâh, will we see our Lord?’ The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: ‘Do you have to crowd together to see the sun on a clear day?’ We said: ‘No...’” and he quoted the Hadîth until the end, and it is similar to the Hadîth of Hâfs bin Maisarah (no. 454). After the words, “with no good deed that they did or sent on ahead,” he added: “It will be said to them: ‘You will have what you see and the same again.’” Abû Sa’eed Al-Khudrî said: “I heard that the Bridge is narrower than a hair and sharper than a sword.” In the Hadîth of Al-Laith it does not say: “They will say, ‘Our Lord, You have given us what You have never given to anyone in all the worlds’” and what is after it.
