English translation

[4908] 139 - (1897) It was narrated from Sulaimân bin Buraidah that his father said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'The sanctity of the wives of the Mujâhidîn for those who stay behind is like the sanctity of their own mothers. There is no man among those who stay behind who looks after the family of one of the Mujâhidîn and then betrays him with regard to them, but he will be made to stand on the Day of Resurrection, and he (the Mujâhid) will take as much of his good deeds as he wishes; so what do you think?'"

139 - (1897) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حُرْمَةُ نِسَاءِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ كَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَاعِدِينَ يَخْلُفُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَيَخُونُهُ فِيهِمْ، إِلَّا وُقِفَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَيَأْخُذُ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ مَا شَاءَ، فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ؟»،
