English translation
[4929] 156 - (1908) It wasnarrated that Anas bin Mâliksaid: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺsaid: 'Whoever sincerely seeksmartyrdom, (its reward) will begiven to him, even if he does notachieve it.'"

156 - (1908) حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ طَلَبَ الشَّهَادَةَ صَادِقًا، أُعْطِيَهَا، وَلَوْ لَمْ تُصِبْهُ»
