English translation

[5088] 18 - (...) It was narrated that Anas said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ sacrificed two horned black and white rams. I saw him slaughter them with his own hand, and I saw him placing his foot on their sides, and he said the Name of Allāh and he said the Takbīr.”

Arabic text

18 - (1966) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: «ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ»، قَالَ: «وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ وَاضِعًا قَدَمَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا»، قَالَ: «وَسَمَّى وَكَبَّرَ»،
