English translation

[5206] 62 - (...) It was narrated that Jābir said: "Nabīdh would be made for the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ in a waterskin. If they could not find a waterskin it would be prepared in a bowl made of stone."

62 - (1999) وحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ يُنْتَبَذُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَجِدُوا سِقَاءً نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ»، فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ: مِنْ بِرَامٍ؟ قَالَ: «مِنْ بِرَامٍ»
