English translation

[5579] (...) A Hadîth like that of Mâlik (no. 5578) was narrated from Az-Zuhri, except that in the Hadîth of Ma'mar it says: "The Children of Israel were punished."

(2127) - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا، عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، كُلُّهُمْ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ إِنَّمَا عُذِّبَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ
