English translation
[5742] 70 - (2205) Jâbir bin 'Abdullâh visited Al-Muqanna' (when he was sick) then he said: "I will not depart until you are treated with cupping, for I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ say: 'In it there is healing.'"

70 - (2205) حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، وَأَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَاصِمَ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَادَ الْمُقَنَّعَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى تَحْتَجِمَ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ فِيهِ شِفَاءً»
