[6080] 106 - (2342) It was narrated that Abû Juhaifah said: "I saw the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ with this much white hair" – and Zuhair (a sub narrator) put one of his fingers on the tuft of hair between his lower lip and his chin. It was said to him: "How old were you on that day?" He said: "I was making arrows and putting feathers on them (i.e., had passed the age of childhood)."
106 - (2342) حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «هَذِهِ مِنْهُ بَيْضَاءَ، وَوَضَعَ زُهَيْرٌ بَعْضَ أَصَابِعِهِ عَلَى عَنْفَقَتِهِ» قِيلَ لَهُ: مِثْلُ مَنْ أَنْتَ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ فَقَالَ: «أَبْرِي النَّبْلَ وَأَرِيشُهَا»
