English translation
[6130] 143 - (2365) Abû Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ say: 'I am the closest of the people to the son of Mariam. The Prophets are brothers from different mothers, and there is no Prophet between him and I.'"

143 - (2365) حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِابْنِ مَرْيَمَ، الْأَنْبِيَاءُ أَوْلَادُ عَلَّاتٍ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ نَبِيٌّ»
