English translation
[6794] 12 - (...) It was narrated from Abû Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Time will pass quickly and knowledge will be taken away." Then he mentioned a similar Hadîth (as no. 6792).

12 - (157) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ، وَيَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ» ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمَا.
