English translation

[728] 42 - (320) It was narrated that Abû Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahmân said: “I entered upon ‘Aîshah along with her brother through breastfeeding, and he asked her about how the Prophet ﷺ performed Ghusl in the case of Janâbah. She called for a vessel the size of a Ṣâ, and performed Ghusl with a screen between us and her.[1] She poured water over her head three times. He said: “The wives of the Prophet ﷺ used to cut their hair so that it came down to their earlobes.”
