English translation

[7477] 48 - (2987) Jundab Al- 'AlaqI said: "The Messenger of Allah J said: 'Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will display him."

48 - (2987) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جُنْدُبًا الْعَلَقِيَّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللهُ بِهِ، وَمَنْ يُرَائِي يُرَائِي اللهُ بِهِ»،
