[852] 14 - (387) It was narrated from Talhah bin Yahyâ that his paternal uncle said: “I was with Mu'āwiyah bin Abī Sufyān when the Mu'adhhdhin came to him to call him to prayer. Mu'āwiyah said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: "The Mu'adhhdhin will be the people with the longest necks on the Day of Resurrection."
14 - (387) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، فَجَاءَهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ يَدْعُوهُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ أَطْوَلُ النَّاسِ أَعْنَاقًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
