[938] 92 - (...) It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullāh bin 'Utbah bin Mas'ûd that 'Āishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, said: "When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ fell sick and his pain grew severe, he asked his wives for permission to be looked after in my house, and they gave him permission. He came out between two men, dragging his feet along the ground, between 'Abbâs bin 'Abdul-Muṭṭalib and another man." 'Ubaidullāh said: "I told 'Abdullāh about what 'Āishah had said, and 'Abdullāh bin 'Abbâs said to me: 'Do you know who the other man was, whom 'Āishah did not name?' I said: 'No.' Ibn 'Abbâs said: 'He was ‘Alî, may Allâh be pleased with him.”
