English translation
[965] 116 - (...) A similar report (as no. 964) was narrated from Abû Hurairah from the Prophet ﷺ, except that in the Hadîth of Ar-Rabî' bin Muslim it says: “That Allâh will turn his face into the face of a donkey.”

١١٦ - (٤٢٧) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ. جَمِيعًا عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ. حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي. حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. ح وحدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة. حدثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ. كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عن النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بِهَذَا. غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ "أَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ وَجْهَ حِمَارٍ".
