English translation

[975] 124 - (433) It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Make your rows straight, for straightening the rows is part of the completion of the prayer.'"

Arabic text

124 - (433) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ، فَإِنَّ تَسْوِيَةَ الصَّفِّ، مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلَاةِ»
