English translation
1523. It was narrated from 'Abbâd bin Tamîm from his paternal uncle that the Prophet ﷺ went out and prayed for rain, then he prayed two Rak'ahs in which he recited loudly. (Sahih)

1522 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ فَاسْتَسْقَى، فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ»

Commentary
Regarding the specific or occasional prayers (other than the obligatory ones), which are performed in congregation, whether they be during the daylight, recitation of the Qur'an in them is invariably aloud or Jahran, for instance, the Jumu'ah, the prayer of the two Festivals (Eidain), the drought prayer, etc. And this view is more appropriate.
