English translation
1679. It was narrated that Abû Hurairah said: "My close friend advised me to do three things: "To pray Witr at the beginning of the night, to pray two Rak'ahs of Fajr and to fast three days of each month." (Sahîh)

1678 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا، عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: " أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِثَلَاثٍ: الْوِتْرِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، وَرَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ، وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ "
