English translation
2207. It was narrated that Abû Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Whoever fasts Ramaḍân out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.'" (Sahîh)

2205 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»
