2255. It was narrated that Abû Sa'eed Al-Khudrî said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: Whoever fasts a day in the cause of Allâh, Allâh will separate his face (a distance of) seventy autumns from the Fire in return for that day.” (Saḥīh)
2253 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي، حَدَّثَكُمْ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ النَّارَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»
