English translation
2356. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ did not fast any month more than Sha'bān; he used to fast (all of) it, or most of it." (Saḥīḥ)

2354 - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِشَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ لِشَعْبَانَ، كَانَ يَصُومُهُ أَوْ عَامَّتَهُ»
