English translation
2522. It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ enjoined that Sadaqatul Fitr should be given before the people go out to pray. (One of the narrators): Ibn Bazî’ said: “Zakâtul-Fitr.” (Ṣaḥīḥ)

2521 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، ح قَالَ: وَأَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ، أَنْ تُؤَدَّى قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ» قَالَ ابْنُ بَزِيعٍ: بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ
