Text and translation

English translation

2671. It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that a man said: "O Messenger of Allâh, what clothes should we wear when we enter Ihrâm?" He said: "Do not wear a shirt (or shirts), or Imâmahs, or pants, or Khuffs – unless someone cannot find sandals, in which case he should cut them (the Khuffs) so that they come beneath the ankles – or any garment that has been touched by (dyed with) Wars or saffron.” (Saḥīḥ)
