English translation

2823. It was narrated from 'Aţâ' that Ibn 'Abbâs said to Zaid bin Arqam: "Do you not know that the Prophet ﷺ was given a piece of game meat when he was in Ihrâm and he did not accept it?" He said: "Yes." (Sahih)

Arabic text

٢٨٢١ - أَخْبَرَنَا ‌أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ‌قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ ‌عَطَاءٍ : «أَنَّ ‌ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ ‌لِزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ : مَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوُ صَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ».
