English translation

3027. It was narrated from Usâmah bin Zaid that when the Prophet ﷺ departed from 'Arafât he turned toward the mountain pass. I said to him: "Are you going to pray Maghrib?" He said: "The prayer place is still ahead of you." (Šahîh)

Commentary

The Prophet ﷺ had alighted to urinate. The purpose of the chapter is the very same; that one may halt on one's way out of necessity. Otherwise, the prayers shall be prayed in Muzdalifah.
