Text and translation

English translation

3180. It was narrated from Mus'ab bin Sa'd, from his father, that he thought he was better than other Companions of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet of Allâh ﷺ said: "Rather, Allâh supports this Ummah because of its weak ones, because of their supplication, their Salâh, and their sincerity." (Sahîh)

Commentary

'Superiority or precedence (over others)' because he belonged to the group of early Muslims. He used to call himself one-third Islam (the third part of Islam) that means numerically he had been the third to become a Muslim.
