English translation

3205. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ gave us the choice, and we chose him, so there was no divorce." (Saḥīḥ)

Arabic text

3203 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «خَيَّرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَاخْتَرْنَاهُ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ طَلَاقًا»
