English translation
3791. It was narrated from Anas that some meat was brought to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and he said: "What is this?" "It was said: "It was given in charity to Barīrah." He said: "It is charity for her and a gift for us." (Saḥīḥ)

3760 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ فَقَالَ: «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقِيلَ: تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ، فَقَالَ: «هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ»

Commentary
The purpose or objective of this Hadīth is: a poor person may give a present out of the wealth of charity; and it could be accepted by one and all; whether he be rich or poor.
