English translation
3835. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "A vow does not bring anything to the son of Ādam that has not been decreed for him. It is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly." (Sahih)

3804 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَأْتِي النَّذْرُ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ أُقَدِّرْهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ شَيْءٌ اسْتُخْرِجَ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ»
