English translation
3836. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not make vows, for a vow does not have any impact on the Qadar. Rather it is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly." (Sahih)

3805 - أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تَنْذِرُوا فَإِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْقَدَرِ شَيْئًا، وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ»
