English translation

3901. It was narrated that Râfi' bin Khadîj said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ forbade Al-Haqîl (renting land in return for one-third or one-quarter of the produce)." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

3870 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَقْلِ»
