English translation
4360 It was narrated from 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin 'Uthmān that a physician made mention of the use of frogs in a remedy in the presence of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade killing them. (Sahīh)

٤٣٥٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ : «أَنَّ طَبِيبًا ذَكَرَ ضِفْدَعًا فِي دَوَاءٍ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِهِ».

Since it is proved that it is unlawful to kill the frog, then it is also unlawful to consume.
