English translation

4777. It was narrated that Abû Sa'eed Al-Khudrî said: "While the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ was distributing something, a man came and leaned over him, and the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ hit him with a stick that he had with him. The man went out, and the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Come and ask for retaliation.' He said: 'No, I pardon you, O Messenger of Allâh.'" (Da'if)

4773 - أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ مُسَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُ شَيْئًا، أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ فَأَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ فَطَعَنَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعُرْجُونٍ كَانَ مَعَهُ، فَخَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَعَالَ فَاسْتَقِدْ»، قَالَ: بَلْ قَدْ عَفَوْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
