Text and translation

English translation

4784. It was narrated from Qais that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ sent a detachment of troops to some people of Khath'am, who sought to protect themselves by prostrating (to demonstrate that they were Muslims), but they were killed. The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ ruled that half the Diyah should be paid, and said: "I am innocent of any Muslim who (lives with) a Mushrik." Then the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Their fires should not be visible to one another.'" (Da'if)
