English translation
4920. It was narrated that Az-Zuhri said: "Amrah said, narrating from 'Aishah, may Allâh be pleased with her, that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ cut off the hand of a thief for a quarter of a Dînâr." (Sahîh)

4916 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ: عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ»
