5042. It was narrated from Anas bin Mâlik that the Prophet ﷺ said: "None of you has believed until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Ṣaḥīḥ) Al-Qâḏî – meaning Ibn Kassâr[1] – said: "I heard 'Abduṣ-Ṣamad Al-Bukhârî saying: Ḥafṣ bin 'Umar, the one who reports from 'Abdur-Raḥmân bin Mahdî, I do not know who he is. Unless the Waw was dropped from Ḥafṣ bin 'Amr Ar-Rabâli, the one popular with reporting from the people of Al-Baṣrah, and he is trustworthy.' And he mentioned him in this statement about the Hadîth of Maṣûr bin Sa'd, in the Chapter: Description Of The Muslim.[2] And I heard him say: 'I do not know who reported the Marfu' Hadîth of Anas bin Mâlik: I have been commanded to fight the people — additionally with his statement — and they turn to face the same Qiblah as us, they eat our slaughtered animals, and pray as we pray' – reporting it from Ĥumaid Aṭ-Ṭawīl, except for 'Abdullāh bin Al-Mubārak and Yaḥya bin Ayyūb Al-Miṣrī.' And it is in this section, in the Chapter: For What Are The People To Be Fought."[1]

5039 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ» قَالَ الْقَاضِي يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْكَسَّارِ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الصَّمَدِ الْبُخَارِيَّ يَقُولُ: حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الَّذِي يَرْوِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ لَا أَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ سَقَطَ الْوَاوُ، مِنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الرَّبَالِيِّ الْمَشْهُورُ بِالرِّوَايَةِ عَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّينَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ، ذَكَرَهُ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ فِي حَدِيثِ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ فِي بَابِ صِفَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: لَا أَعْلَمُ رَوَى حَدِيثَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْمَرْفُوعَ: «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ - بِزِيَادَةِ قَوْلِهِ -، وَاسْتَقْبَلُوا قِبْلَتَنَا، وَأَكَلُوا ذَبِيحَتَنَا، وَصَلَّوْا صَلَاتَنَا» عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ إِلَّا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ وَيَحْيَى بْنَ أَيُّوبَ الْبَصْرِيَّ، «وَهُوَ فِي هَذَا الْجُزْءِ فِي بَابِ مَا يُقَاتِلُ النَّاسَ»
