English translation

5114. It was narrated that Abū Raiḥānah said: “We heard that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade filing (the teeth) and tattoos.” (Da’if)

Arabic text

5111 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُصَيْنِ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ قَالَ: بَلَغَنَا «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْوَشْرِ، وَالْوَشْمِ»
