English translation

5375. It was narrated that Abū Umāmah bin Sahl said: "The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was of silver." (Sahih)

Arabic text

5373 - أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ»
