5615. Ṣa'ṣa'ah said to 'Alī bin Abī Tālib - may Allāh honor his face - "Forbid to us, O Commander of the Believers! What the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade to you." He said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade me from using Ad-Dubbâ' and Al-Hantam." (Ṣaḥīḥ)
5612 - أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُمَيْعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ صَعْصَعَةُ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ: انْهَنَا يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَمَّا نَهَاكَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ»
