English translation

5619. Ibn 'Abbâs said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ forbade soaking (fruits) in earthenware jars." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

5616 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ»
