English translation

5638. Abû Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ forbade earthenware jars, Ad-Dubbâ' (gourds), Al-Muzaffat containers." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

5635 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجِرَارِ، وَالدُّبَّاءِ، وَالظُّرُوفِ الْمُزَفَّتَةِ»
