English translation

5640. Abû Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ forbade Ad-Dubbâ' (gourds), Al-Hantam, An- Naqīr, and Al-Muzaffat.” (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

5637 - أَخْبَرَنَا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ، وَالنَّقِيرِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ»
